A new express train service has been inaugurated, connecting Raipur and Jabalpur. The train was flagged off by the Railway Minister, fulfilling a long-standing demand from passengers traveling on this route. Previously, the AmarKantak Express was the only train operating between Raipur and Jabalpur, often causing inconvenience, particularly during festivals and holidays. The introduction of this new service is expected to alleviate these issues. This express train will not only facilitate travel between Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh but also boost trade, tourism, and cultural exchange. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Railway Minister, noting the rapid expansion of the rail network in the state due to the central government’s support. This expansion aims to provide modern and convenient travel options for the public. The Railway Minister had previously informed the Chief Minister about the launch of this new train via a letter. The Raipur-Jabalpur Express is poised to offer enhanced and punctual service, strengthening the bond between the two states.
