After experiencing heavy rainfall and severe waterlogging, the situation in the national capital is normalizing. The water level in the Yamuna River is rapidly receding. Delhi-NCR witnessed heavy downpours from September 1st to September 8th, leading to flooded streets and the Yamuna exceeding its danger mark. The rain has now ceased in Delhi.
Currently, no rain is expected in Delhi-NCR for the next 5 days. Heat and humidity will once again trouble the residents. There is no forecast for rain in Delhi from September 10th to September 15th. Delhi will remain dry during this period, with only sunshine and intermittent cloud cover.
How is the weather in UP expected to be? Uttar Pradesh’s weather is undergoing continuous changes. A heavy rain alert has been issued for September 11th and 12th. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall again on September 15th. Today, western and eastern UP may experience showers and thunderstorms. There is no heavy rain alert issued. On September 11th, both parts of the state may have showers and thunderstorms. Eastern UP may experience heavy rainfall in some areas, while western UP does not have a heavy rain alert.
Heavy rainfall expected in these states: According to the weather department, heavy rainfall is expected in eastern Madhya Pradesh today, in Chhattisgarh until September 13th, in Bihar until September 12th, in West Bengal and Sikkim until September 14th, in Odisha from today until September 12th, and in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands until tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is possible in central Maharashtra and Marathwada from September 13th to 15th and in Konkan and Goa on September 14th and 15th.
How will the weather be in the mountains? Heavy to very heavy rainfall can be expected in Nagaland and Manipur on September 11th and 12th, and in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya from September 12th to 14th. Rainfall is also expected in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. The weather department has predicted rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on September 13th, and in Uttarakhand from September 12th to 14th.
