Amit Pandey, Khairagarh. A embarrassing incident has come to light. After the death of a young man injured in a road accident, before the post -mortem, the hospital worker sought a bribe from the family, whose audio is going viral on social media. It is alleged that in the post -mortem report, a demand of Rs 10,000 was demanded from the family of the deceased instead of not writing alcohol. The whole matter is of the Civil Hospital in Khairagarh.
In the viral audio clip, the doctor’s assistant Golu Sinha is talking to the family of the deceased. He is demanding 10 thousand rupees, saying that he should keep the report clean. It is also being said in the clip that if alcohol intake is written in the report, then there will be no insurance claim. When Golu Sinha was talked about this regard after catching the case, he told that an accident case had come, in which the injured youth died in Operation Theater. He kept the body of the deceased in the mercury on the instructions of BMO Dr. Vivek Bisen.
The doctor’s assistant Golu says that the BMO had asked him to talk to the family of the deceased regarding the post -mortem in the morning. He also clarified that he had only talked about the BMO’s behest. He has denied demand or transaction for any kind of money.
In this case, BMO Dr. Vivek Bisen said that as soon as the matter came to the notice, he has issued a notice. However, he was seen avoiding saying anything ahead of it and postponed the matter saying that he would not comment on this matter anymore. Now the big question is that when the hospital employee Golu Sinha spoke to the family at the behest of the BMO, then who was issued the notice? And on whom will the action be done? Are BMOs considering themselves responsible or is the entire blame being put on the employee who only followed the order. This episode has once again proved that the accountability crisis in government hospitals is getting deeper.
While on one hand the employees escape by citing the orders, senior officials get rid of their responsibilities by issuing only notice, but the general public grinds, who come to the frame of government hospitals with the hope of justice and system after losing their loved ones. The question is not just to ask for money, the question is of the system in which ‘claim’ and ‘clearance’ are seen before humanity.
