On the First Monday of Shravan, Cabinet Minister Rajesh Agrawal Performs Jalabhishek at Lakhanpur Shiva Temple, Wishing Prosperity, Peace, and Happiness for the People of the State

On the auspicious occasion of the first Monday of the Shravan month in Raipur, Tourism, Culture and Religion Minister Rajesh Agrawal performed the ritual worship and Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva at the ancient Shiv temple in Lakhanpur, Surguja district. He prayed to Lord Mahadev for the happiness, prosperity, good health, peace, and overall development of all the people of Chhattisgarh. The temple was filled with devotees chanting 'Har Har Mahadev' and 'Bam Bam Bholenath'. Minister Agrawal offered water, milk, bel leaves, dhatura, flowers, ash and other offerings, and prayed for the state's prosperity and welfare. He interacted with the devotees and wished them a blessed Shravan month. He said that the Shravan month is the most auspicious time for worship of Lord Shiva, symbolizing compassion, sacrifice, public welfare, equality and positive energy. He expressed wishes for families' happiness, farmers' success, bright futures for youth, brotherhood and harmony in society, and continuous development of Chhattisgarh. He praised Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai's leadership in preserving, enhancing and promoting the state's rich religious, cultural and spiritual heritage, protecting ancient temples and historic sites, and promoting religious tourism. He emphasized that Chhattisgarh's religious and cultural heritage is an invaluable identity of the state, and the government aims to provide better facilities for devotees and tourists. A large number of devotees attended, offered prayers for the state's prosperity and welfare, and the atmosphere was filled with devotion, faith and spiritual enthusiasm, making the first Monday of Shravan a highly revered and enthusiastic celebration.
