Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, a prominent and oldest university in Chhattisgarh, has achieved an A+ grade in the recent ranking released by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). This accomplishment marks a significant improvement in the university’s performance. The Chancellor and Governor of Chhattisgarh, Raman Deka, expressed delight at the university’s achievement and extended congratulations. The Governor met with Professor Satchidanand Shukla, the Vice-Chancellor of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur, and received the official letter confirming the A+ grade. The Governor acknowledged this as a moment of pride for the entire state, expressing the hope that other government universities will be inspired and strive to enhance their quality to achieve excellent grading. Pandit Ravishankar University is the first government university in the state to receive an A+ grade in the general university category. The Governor, over the past year, has held regular review meetings with government universities, encouraging them to improve their quality and participate in the NAAC grading process. The Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude to the Governor for his guidance and support in achieving this milestone. Present at the occasion were Professor R.P. Parganiha, the Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the university, and the Registrar, Professor Amber Vyas.
