Revenue Minister flags off 'Next Gen Dial-112' vehicles in Balodabazar Fleet of 15 modern vehicles ready, including forensic and highway patrolling vans Emergency help will now be available in minutes in urban and rural areas Raipur, May 20, 2026/ A big step was taken today towards strengthening law and order and providing quick emergency assistance to the general public in the state. Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma flagged off the 'Next Gen CG Dial-112' vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art technology from the Raksheet Kendra (Police Line) premises at the district headquarters Balodabazar on Wednesday. This new fleet includes 12 regular Dial-112 vehicles, along with 2 highway patrolling vans to handle serious road accidents and 1 mobile forensic van for quick investigation. On this occasion, District Panchayat President Akanksha Jaiswal, Municipal Corporation President Ashok Jain, Collector Kuldeep Sharma, and Superintendent of Police OP Sharma, among other senior public representatives and administrative officials, were present. Policing will be strengthened as per the Chief Minister's vision: Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma Flagging off the vehicles, Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma said that the policing system in the state is being modernized and strengthened as per the vision of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. With the expansion of this emergency service, help will reach within minutes upon just one call for any accident, crime, or emergency situation 24 hours a day in the urban and rural areas of all 12 police stations in the district. Vehicles are equipped with smartphones, GPS, and dashcams Officials informed that these new vehicles are completely 'high-tech'. These state-of-the-art vehicles can be live-monitored using GPS, wireless radio, PTZ camera, dashcam, etc., for security and quick action. The location of the vehicles will be tracked from the control room, and the closest vehicle to the victim will be immediately dispatched to the spot. Citizens will now be able to seek help not only through voice calls but also via SMS, WhatsApp, chatbot, email, and the 'SOS-112 India app'. The arrival of this modern fleet will greatly assist in crime control and in getting the injured to the hospital during the 'golden hour' (initial crucial time) following road accidents in the Balodabazar district.
