Farmers are making farming more profitable and sustainable with modern agricultural techniques. Raipur, June 13, 2026/Increasing use of modern techniques and scientific methods in the agricultural sector is helping farmers increase production as well as maintain soil quality. Advanced fertilizers like nano urea and nano DAP are emerging as an effective option for farmers, providing essential nutrients to crops with greater efficiency in smaller quantities. Progressive farmer Shri Satyanarayan from village Bhagwanpur in Surguja district shared his experience of using nano fertilizers, stating that he has been using nano urea and nano DAP on his approximately three acres of agricultural land for the past two years. According to him, this technique has resulted in better crop growth and positive outcomes in production. Shri Satyanarayan explained that nano fertilizers are used as foliar spray, which delivers nutrients directly to the plants, ensuring their maximum utilization. This ensures that crops receive essential nutrients on time, leading to an increase in production capacity. He said that excessive use of traditional fertilizers can affect soil quality over time, whereas the use of nano fertilizers reduces the unnecessary wastage of nutrients. This helps in maintaining soil fertility and productivity, which is important for sustainable agriculture. According to agricultural experts, farmers get better results in smaller quantities due to the higher efficiency of nano fertilizers. This reduces farming costs as well as environmental impact. This is why farmers' inclination towards nano fertilizers is continuously increasing in the state. The state government and the agriculture department are providing training, demonstrations, and technical guidance to make farmers aware of modern agricultural techniques. Farmers are being encouraged to achieve higher production at lower costs by providing them with information on the scientific use of nano fertilizers. Shri Satyanarayan appealed to other farmers to adopt nano urea and nano DAP, saying that by using modern agricultural techniques, farmers can achieve better production and also preserve the fertility of their agricultural land for a long time. This can make farming more profitable, sustainable, and secure for the future.
