Taking important steps towards large investment in the health and industry sector in Chhattisgarh, today two major industry groups met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at Chhattisgarh Sadan, New Delhi.
Dr. Naresh Trehan, founder of Medanta Hospital and a renowned cardiologist, proposed to establish a state-of-the-art multi-specialty hospital in Raipur. He said that they want to invest about Rs 500 crore in this project. This hospital will be equipped with advanced medical technology, specialist doctors, research and training facilities.
At the same time, Mr. Ravi Jaipuria, Chairman of Varun Beverages Limited, proposed to set up a plant based on carbonated soft drinks and fruit juice in Raipur, in which an investment of more than Rs 250 crore will be made. This project will boost industrial development in the state as well as employment generation.
Welcoming both the proposals, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government will provide all possible cooperation for such quality investments in sectors like health and industry. He said that the state government will consider these two projects and provide all possible help, such projects will also benefit the public and new opportunities for employment will also be available to the youth.
