However, light showers are possible until August 24th. The monsoon pattern has shifted towards Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has issued alerts for Gujarat, South Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, and other western coastal regions, anticipating rainfall. Alerts have also been issued for the hilly regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, Delhi experiences humid conditions. Rainfall is expected in Delhi until August 27th. Light drizzle hasn’t significantly impacted the weather. Today, the capital city may experience rain with thunderstorms. On August 23rd, cloudy skies and moderate rain are expected, with similar conditions on August 24th and 25th. Rain or thundershowers are anticipated on August 26th and 27th.
Weather patterns have shifted in Uttar Pradesh, with heavy rainfall alerts issued for five days starting today. The Meteorological Department has issued heavy rainfall alerts for 38 districts today. Rainfall is expected across almost the entire state on August 24th and 25th, with heavy rainfall likely until August 26th.
Heavy rainfall is also expected to commence from Bihar to Bengal and Odisha. According to the Meteorological Department, Bihar, Jharkhand, the Himalayan region of West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha may experience heavy rainfall for the next week, with potential lightning strikes in several states. Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan are also likely to experience heavy rainfall over the next six to seven days.
Heavy rainfall is also expected in the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Special warnings have been issued for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is expected to receive heavy rainfall from today until August 25th. Himachal Pradesh may experience heavy rainfall from tomorrow until August 26th.
