Rise and Fall Season 2 to Feature Shehzad Poonawalla and Celebrity Cast

Prime Video’s reality competition “Rise and Fall” has revealed its Season 2 cast, confirming that former BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla will join the roster. The announcement followed the release of the season’s official teaser.

Joining Poonawalla are actress Swara Bhasker, reality‑show stalwart Priyanka Chahar Chauhan, and television actor Karan Patel. The series will be anchored by former cricketer Virender Sehwag, who replaces Ashneer Grover as host.

Poonawalla left the BJP in August, explaining that after a period of deep reflection he chose to pursue opportunities outside politics, particularly in the private sector. He emphasized that his departure was limited to the party’s organizational wing and did not alter his respect for Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the party’s ideological stance.

Brother Tahseen Poonawalla posted a congratulatory note on X, wishing his sibling success in the new medium and adding a light‑hearted comment about rising on the show and steering clear of a fall.

The second season is slated to premiere on September 26, 2026, with fresh episodes released each day at noon via Prime Video and the MX Player Android app. Production duties are managed by Banijay Asia.
