Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat stated that genuine dharma resides in treating everyone with affection and fostering all diversities harmoniously. Speaking at the ‘Lokhitkari Kashinath – Smarika Vimochan Samaroh’ in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, he emphasized that people often believe they cannot emulate great figures like Shivaji Maharaj. Bhagwat clarified that the focus should be on becoming good individuals, maintaining happiness within families and society, and striving for progress. He highlighted the strength of the RSS, attributing its growth to the dedication of its volunteers who expanded the organization despite challenges. The event was held at the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) auditorium in Bilaspur. Bhagwat released a souvenir centered on the life and works of the late Kashinath Gore, an RSS official. He underscored the importance of remembering and passing on the legacy of such individuals to inspire future generations. Bhagwat emphasized that true ‘dharma’ involves viewing everyone with a sense of belonging and promoting all diversities in a harmonious manner. He also highlighted the crucial role of ordinary volunteers in the Sangh, who have been instrumental in its expansion through their unwavering commitment and the spirit of ‘belonging’.
