About 46 per cent of the CNG used in India is currently imported and the government aims to reduce this dependence through the production and consumption of bio-CNG. Bio CNG, also called Bio Compressed Natural Gas.
It is mainly used as fuel and domestic energy of vehicles. Also, it can be used to fuel CNG vehicles, for cooking and heating as an alternative to LPG, for power generation, heating and other procedures in some industries.
The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy estimates that the capacity of bio-CNG production in India is around 70 million metric tonnes. Its production is in line with the demand of the market, which is financially completely practical.
What is biosiNG?
BiosynG is produced by breaking biogas and industrial mud into biogas and digestat. This process occurs in a sealed, oxygen -free tank, which is also called anaerobic digester. Then biogas is processed, from which 95 percent pure methane gas is obtained. This process provides high quality concentrated liquid fertilizer.
