Continuous heavy rainfall across Chhattisgarh has disrupted daily life, causing rivers and streams to overflow and flooding low-lying areas. In response to the adverse conditions, several districts have announced closures of schools and Anganwadi centers as a precautionary measure. In Dhamtari district, all government Anganwadi centers and schools will be closed for one day. Collector Avinash Mishra issued this order. Meanwhile, in the Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district, where the situation is reported to be more severe, the Collector has declared a two-day holiday, with all government and private schools and Anganwadi centers closed on July 9th and 10th.
