Shorthand and Typewriting Skill Test to be Held in August

Raipur, Examination centers set up in various divisions including Raipur and Durg. Raipur, The Shorthand and Typewriting Computer Skill Test Council, Directorate of Public Instruction Chhattisgarh is organizing typewriting and computer typewriting skill tests on various dates in August 2026. Examination centers have been set up in Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Surguja, and Bastar divisions for the successful conduct of the examination. Examination Schedule and Dates The English Typewriting (Speed 10,000 key-depressions per hour) examination will be conducted in 05 examination centers on August 1, 2026. Similarly, Hindi Typewriting (Speed 10,000 key-depressions per hour) will be conducted in selected 05 examination centers in Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Surguja, and Bastar on August 2, 2026. The English Computer Typewriting (Speed 8,000 key-depressions per hour) examination will be conducted in 08 examination centers on August 8, 2026, Hindi Computer Typewriting (Speed 8,000 key-depressions per hour) in 09 examination centers on August 9, 2026, and in 01-01 examination centers in Bilaspur and Surguja divisions on August 16, 2026. Important Guidelines for Examinees It is mandatory for examinees to be present at the examination center allotted by the council at the designated batch and time. Information regarding the download of admit cards has been sent via SMS to the registered mobile numbers of the examinees. Candidates must bring a valid original identity card to enter the examination center. Any one of the following original identity cards can be presented as proof: Aadhaar card, Driving License, PAN card, or Voter ID card. The Deputy Director, Directorate of Public Instruction Chhattisgarh has instructed all examinees to strictly adhere to the instructions given in the admit card.
