Announcement of upgrading the high school of Murmunda to a higher secondary school

Distribution of materials, checks, KCC, and ATM cards to beneficiaries

Durg, May 20, 2025 / The work of the government is not just to make plans, but to ensure that their benefits reach the last person. When we go to village after village to set up solution camps, it is proof of our accountability. Only a government that works honestly for the people can do this. This was stated by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai while addressing the solution camp organized in Gram Panchayat Murmunda of Dhamdha development block of Durg district today.

The Chief Minister said that the solution camp is not just a government event, but a living proof of the administration’s responsibility towards the general public. Our government presented a report card to the public upon completing one year, and now after one and a half years, it is again giving a report of its work to the public. The Chief Minister said that Durg is the 19th district under the Good Governance Festival where he has come to attend the Good Governance Camp. The Chief Minister said that he is happy to receive feedback from people during surprise inspections and Good Governance Camps, that the work done by our government in the last one and a half years is benefiting the public. Chief Minister Shri Sai informed that a total of 2630 applications were received in the Murmunda camp, out of which 2539 cases were resolved on the spot. The Chief Minister clarified that all applications received in the camp will be fully resolved.

The Chief Minister further said that our government is working to provide electricity and water from taps to every household. He said that the previous government worked to snatch the rights of 18 lakh poor families in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. By snatching the house and roof from the poor, the previous government had ruined the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Similarly, mentioning the irregularities of the previous government in the Nal-Jal scheme, the Chief Minister said that tanks were built in the village, but there was no arrangement for water. Our government improved these schemes and implemented them on the ground.

Schemes for every class of farmers, laborers, and elders
The Chief Minister said that as per our promise, our government is procuring 21 quintals of paddy per acre from the farmers at the rate of Rs 3100, the bonus for the last two years has also been given to the farmers. Through the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme, the elders have got the opportunity to go on pilgrimage. Under the Shri Ramlala Ayodhya Dham Darshan Yojana, more than 22000 people have visited Ayodhya. Landless agricultural laborers are being given an annual assistance of Rs 10,000. Distribution of ownership cards is being done rapidly.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the improvement in the land registration system and informed that now the mutation will be done automatically with the registration itself, people will not have to make rounds of the offices. If a person wants to give land to his son or daughter, then the work can be completed by giving a donation letter for Rs 500. The Chief Minister informed that Atal Digital Service Centers are being established in Gram Panchayats. So far, these centers have been started in 1460 Gram Panchayats, where banking transactions worth Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh are being done daily. The target is to provide this facility to all Gram Panchayats in the next one year.

Material distribution done in the camp
In the solution camp, Chief Minister Shri Sai distributed house entry keys to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, job cards to MNREGA workers, social pension to eligible beneficiaries, Kisan Credit Cards, checks, and ATM cards to farmers. Chief Minister Shri Sai said in the end that the work of the government is not only to govern, but to serve the people. Real good governance is established only when the government comes to the door of the people. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, MLA Shri Domanlal Korsewada also addressed the Good Governance Camp. MLA Saja Shri Ishwar Lal Sahu, former MLA Shri Premprakash Pandey, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Secretary to Chief Minister Shri P. Dayanand along with other public representatives and villagers of Murmunda including 15 Panchayats were present in large numbers in the program.
