In a move aimed at enhancing the travel experience for female passengers during the Teeja festival, the railway authorities have announced special arrangements. A fast MEMU train will operate between Raipur and Anuppur. This special train service is scheduled for August 24th and 28th. Additionally, a Teeja Festival MEMU train will also run between Raipur and Tadoqi on August 25th and 29th. The initiative is designed to provide a safer and more comfortable journey for women during the festival, as passenger numbers across the state tend to increase significantly. The railway’s decision to introduce these extra trains aims to alleviate congestion and ensure passenger convenience during the festive period. The train 06803 will depart from Raipur at 4:50 AM.
