Statewide Lamp‑Lighting Initiative Marks 25 Years of Narendra Modi’s Public Life

RAYPUR, 17 September 2026 – In a coordinated effort spanning the entire state of Chhattisgarh, more than 1.5 crore lamps were lit under the "Ashirvad Ke Diye" segment of the Service Pledge Campaign. The massive rally of citizens across urban and rural locales illuminated public squares, temple precincts and major crossroads, creating a striking visual tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25‑year journey in public office.

Participants included farmers, schoolchildren, laborers, women’s groups and elected officials, all contributing to the flame‑filled spectacle. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai highlighted Modi’s dedication to national development and social welfare, pointing to a series of landmark policies launched during his tenure.

Running from 17 September to 17 October, the campaign seeks to embed the principles of service and transparent administration into the daily consciousness of the populace.
