Summer schedule cut removes Ambikapur leg, keeps Bilaspur‑Kolkata service

When Alliance Air launched its summer timetable, the Bilaspur‑Ambikapur‑Kolkata corridor operated twice a week from 2 April. Weak demand on the Ambikapur segment forced the airline to drop the stop, converting the service into a direct Bilaspur‑Kolkata flight.

The change eliminates the additional layover time for passengers traveling to Kolkata, while preserving the essential air link for the region. The airline expects the streamlined schedule to improve load factors on the remaining route.
