Surya Ghar Yojana Provides Relief: Anjali Singh Benefits from Subsidy and Reduced Electricity Bills

The Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PM Free Electricity Scheme) is proving beneficial for residents of Bilaspur district, mirroring its positive impact across the country. It not only promotes environmental conservation but also offers respite from high electricity bills, especially during this period of inflation. Anjali Singh, a resident of Ashok Nagar in the Bilaspur district, installed a 3-kilowatt solar plant on her roof. The total cost of the solar plant was 1 lakh 85 thousand rupees, with a subsidy of 78 thousand rupees received from the central government.
