Raipur, May 28, 2025/ A thought-provoking symposium is being organized on May 29 at the Chief Minister’s Residence, Raipur, on the auspicious occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar. This program will commence at 11:00 am, in which intellectuals, doctors, engineers, architects, lawyers, litterateurs and other prominent people from various sections of the society will participate.
The symposium will be presided over by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, while Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Minister of Rural Development, Government of Madhya Pradesh, will be present as the key speaker of the program. Shri Kiran Dev, President of Bharatiya Janata Party Chhattisgarh, and Shri Narayan Chandel, former Leader of the Opposition in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, will also address the symposium.
The aim of the program is to convey the life philosophy, social, cultural and administrative contributions of Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar to the present generation. Ahilyabai Holkar left an indelible mark in Indian history through her good governance, justice and public welfare works. Through the symposium, inspiration will be given to move forward on the path of social harmony and public service, remembering her ideas. This event is not only a tribute, but also a source of inspiration, which will encourage the coming generations to contribute to nation building.
