Raipur, June 06, 2025/ A new hope for education has dawned in Taroud, a small village in Balod district, which was once struggling with a shortage of teachers. Where earlier the entire school was running on the trust of only one teacher, now there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the village with the news of the appointment of four subject expert teachers. This initiative of the Chhattisgarh government has filled a new energy regarding education in children, parents and the whole village.
This government high school with about 60 students was struggling with a shortage of teachers for the past two years. Studies were being disrupted, it was impossible for one teacher to handle the responsibility of all subjects. Parents’ concern about the future of their children was increasing. But the initiative of rationalization under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has shown a ray of hope in this darkness.
Rationalization is actually a systematic process to remove the unequal distribution of teachers and resources, in which qualified teachers are deployed in needy schools. Under this scheme, four new teachers have now been posted in the high school of Taroud, who are from different subjects. Now the study of every subject will be regular and of good quality.
The sentiments of the villagers are reflected in the words of village Sarpanch Shri Dharmendra Kumar Ramteke. Earlier the condition of studies in the school was not good. The public participation committee used to call the youth of the village many times and arrange for the studies of the children. The government has now provided better arrangements for the studies of the children by giving four new teachers to the school of our village. For this we are grateful to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. Smt. Maheshwari Thakur, the president of the school’s public participation committee, says that education is the right of children, and the government has returned this right. Now we will not have to worry about who will teach our children.
After hearing the news of the posting of teachers in the school, the children of the village are also very happy. They have started showing enthusiasm and enthusiasm towards studies. Getting separate teachers for every subject for the children is no less than a gift. Now they have started dreaming of becoming doctors, engineers, teachers or officers by studying well.
Taroud is no longer just a village, but has become an example of education reforms in Chhattisgarh. This initiative of rationalization under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is going on in the schools of the entire district. The clear goal of the government is that there should be teachers in every school, and no child should be deprived of education. When the light of education reaches the far-flung villages, its effect does not remain limited to books. It gives a new direction to the whole society. This change in village Taroud is the result of this positive thinking and planned effort. This new dawn of education in Chhattisgarh will definitely take the entire state towards progress.
