A video has gone viral from Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, showing a teacher arriving at school drunk and attempting to teach children. The incident took place at the Gram Rurpur Primary School under the Wadrafnagar development block. On Friday, a teacher appeared at the school wearing shorts while intoxicated. He was seen sitting on a chair and placing his feet on the books on the table. When questioned, he claimed that his doctor had instructed him to drink 100 to 200 grams of alcohol daily to be able to walk. Following the viral video, the Block Education Officer (BEO) has sent a report to the District Education Officer (DEO) and the Collector, recommending action.
