High-level review meeting on the strategy of the Education Department under Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision 2047
Comprehensive and in-depth discussion on the short, medium, and long-term goals of Anjor Vision
Chief Minister said – The goals are big, so the action plan should be solid and the implementation should be done with complete honesty
Raipur November 28, 2025// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today held a high-level meeting at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan regarding the achievement of the goals of the Education Department under Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision 2047. In the meeting, he discussed in detail the short-term goals by the year 2030, medium-term goals by 2035, and long-term goals, and directed the officials to prepare a solid action plan and ensure quick and effective implementation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set the goal of Developed India 2047, and in this sequence, steps are being taken towards the goal of Developed Chhattisgarh through ‘Anjor Vision’. He said that education is the strongest foundation for achieving these goals, as skilled, capable, and smart children will be able to face the challenges of the future. The Chief Minister also informed that the number of teachers in the state is better than the national average and quality education is being provided in government schools. During the meeting, the Secretary of the School Education Department shared all the information with the Chief Minister through a presentation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that if a teacher fulfills their responsibility with determination, no one can stop the children’s future from becoming golden. He emphasized promoting healthy competition among teachers, providing leadership opportunities to talented teachers, and developing a better academic environment. He also directed to strengthen early education through Anganwadi and Balwadi and to further strengthen coordination with the Women and Child Development Department. In the meeting, major goals under Anjor Vision 2047, such as the establishment of 1000 model schools, school complex system, launch of international level schools, AI-based assessment system, personalized lesson plans through digital apps, enhancement of teacher training, and expansion of STEM education, were reviewed.
The Chief Minister specially emphasized the establishment of Science City, organizing science fairs, and starting AI and robotics labs to promote STEM education. Detailed discussions were also held in the meeting on topics related to achieving zero dropout rate by the year 2035, formation of the State Level ECCE Committee, recruitment of teachers, strengthening of evaluation centers, and setting targets for the next three years to ensure prompt action. He reviewed the functioning of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education – data collection of examinees, question paper setting, examination conduct and evaluation – and directed to develop options for additional subjects at the Higher Secondary level, a question bank based on competitive exams, error-free evaluation system, and a tracking system for the transportation of confidential question papers.
During the meeting, achievements such as a significant increase in enrollment rate under NEP 2020, connecting Balwadi with school education, mother-tongue-based learning, ‘Jadui Pitara’ and Samvad programs, Eco Club activities, digital broadcasting under PM e-Vidya, and expansion of vocational education were also presented. The Chief Minister said that the goals of Anjor Vision 2047 will play an important role in making the future generation of Chhattisgarh empowered, self-reliant, and globally competitive.

Renuka Pillai, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, Secretary of School Education Department Shri Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Secretary of Women and Child Development Department Smt. Shammi Abidi, Secretary of General Administration Department Shri Rajat Kumar, and senior officials of the School Education Department.
