Three Chandrakars Accused of Collecting Over Rs 3 Crore in Exam Fraud

According to the ED, the fraud network centered around Uttkarsh Chandrakar, Anil Chandrakar and Dr. Vikas Chandrakar, who allegedly extracted more than Rs 3 crore from aspirants for the CGPSC 2021 exam. The candidates were promised early access to question papers and guaranteed selection through the influence of senior officials. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Raipur initially filed the FIR, which was later taken over by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The CBI filed charge sheets against former CGPSC chairman Taman Singh Sonawani and several others, laying the groundwork for the current money‑laundering investigation.
