Three Heads Receive Ministerial Protocol Without Extra Powers

Chhattisgarh's administration has issued an order raising the protocol level of three officials to that of a state minister. The order lists Sanjay Agrawal of the Yoga Commission, Anjay Shukla of the Tribal Health and Medicinal Plant Board, and Sharad Awasthi of the Indravati Basin Development Authority.

The decree explicitly states that the ministerial rank is ceremonial. It does not alter the legal powers granted to these officers, nor does it affect the hierarchy of existing ministerial posts.
