Tragedy in Chhattisgarh: 3 Jawans Killed by IED During Clearance Mission

A de-mining mission turned fatal in the Bastar region today as three security jawans lost their lives in a sudden IED explosion. The blast took place in the Chotebethiya police station jurisdiction while the DRG team was scanning the tracks for hidden landmines. Kanker SP Nikhil Rakhecha confirmed that the jawans were performing their duty to ensure safe passage in the sensitive Koroskoda region when they were caught in the explosion. One additional jawan was injured and is currently receiving medical treatment.
