In the Khairi Pangri village of Mohla district, Chhattisgarh, a family of three tragically lost their lives due to electrocution. The victims included a husband, wife, and their son. The incident has cast a pall of mourning over the village. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
The incident occurred on Monday evening between 6 and 7 PM. The Boga family, belonging to the Gond tribal community, resided in Pagri village and had gone to a nearby farm. Suratram Boga (62 years old), the head of the family, came into contact with a live wire and was electrocuted. His son, Ruplal Boga, attempted to save his father but also suffered an electric shock. Bhagabati Bai (58 years old), the wife and mother, arrived at the scene after her husband and son did not return home. While trying to rescue them, she too was electrocuted, leading to the death of all three.
The entire village is in a state of shock and grief. The family members and villagers are inconsolable. The police have sent all the bodies for post-mortem examination and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
