A major road accident in the Balod district of Chhattisgarh has resulted in the tragic deaths of a truck driver and his helper. The collision involved a truck that was parked outside a rice mill, waiting to be loaded with husk, and a tanker. The incident occurred in the Purur police station area, specifically in the village of Fagundah. The truck driver, identified as Shailendra Thakur, and his helper, Budhlal Dhimar, were standing in front of the truck when the tanker struck from behind. Both died at the scene. Three other individuals who were standing near the truck sustained serious injuries. Police have registered a case against the tanker driver and are conducting further investigations.
