Positive discussion on coal production, energy security, investment, and infrastructure expansion Emphasis on accelerating industrial development and job creation through center-state coordination Raipur, May 26, 2026/ Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his office in Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan today. On this occasion, detailed and positive discussions were held on various issues related to Chhattisgarh's industrial development, energy security, expansion of the mineral sector, and infrastructure development. The meeting deliberated on increasing coal production in Chhattisgarh, strengthening infrastructure in mining areas, expanding rail and logistics connectivity, and further accelerating industrial activities. Additionally, special discussions were held on promoting clean energy, coal gasification, solar energy development, and creating new investment and employment opportunities through better utilization of mineral resources. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated that Chhattisgarh is a state rich in natural resources, and with the cooperation of the central government, the state is rapidly moving towards new possibilities in the fields of energy, mining, and industrial development. He added that the state government is committed to creating an investment-friendly environment, increasing employment opportunities for the youth, and accelerating regional development. On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Shri Rajat Bansal, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Shri Harish Duhan, and other senior officials were present.
