Raipur, May 12, 2025 / Union Minister for Rural Development and Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will participate in the “Mor Awas Mor Adhikar” program being organized in Ambikapur on May 13. The program will be held at the PG College ground in Ambikapur. During this time, the chief guest Shri Chouhan will give the keys to happiness to the housing beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural and the PM Janman scheme, and will perform the Bhoomi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for the beneficiaries starting housing construction and provide them with housing approval letters. Union Minister Shri Chouhan will have the housewarming ceremonies of the newly constructed 51,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state. Along with this, the sisters of self-help groups who have done outstanding work, the Lakhpati Didis (women earning one lakh rupees) will be honored.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will preside over the program. Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh will be present as special guests. Similarly, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Public Health Family Welfare and Medical Education Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Minister for Women and Child Development Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, along with other dignitaries, will be present as special guests.
