Finance Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various development works in the Raigarh Municipal Corporation area. Civil facilities will increase with community buildings, children's parks, and drain construction. Chaudhary, while inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for various development works in the Raigarh Municipal Corporation area, said that continuous efforts are being made with the objective of making Raigarh city well-organized, modern, and rich in public facilities. He said that special attention is being given to infrastructure expansion, environmental protection, social facilities, and providing better opportunities for youth in the city's development. Inauguration of Sahu Samaj Community Building. Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary inaugurated the Sahu Samaj Community Building constructed at a cost of approximately 20 lakh rupees from the MLA fund in Ward No. 28 of the Municipal Corporation. He said that community buildings are important centers for social activities, meetings, cultural events, and family functions. Such buildings provide a convenient space for the people of the community and strengthen social cohesion. On this occasion, Shri Chaudhary honored the meritorious students of the Sahu Samaj who excelled in the 10th and 12th board examinations and wished them a bright future. Renovation of Children's Park in Shriram Colony. The foundation stone for the renovation of the children's park at a cost of approximately 46 lakh rupees from the infrastructure development and environment cess fund was laid in Ward No. 21, Shriram Colony. This project will include landscaping, planting, main gate, boundary wall, electrification, children's play equipment, seating arrangements, and other facilities. The Finance Minister said that the development of this park will provide a better public space for children, women, and senior citizens and will increase the green cover of the city. Drainage system will be strengthened by drain construction. The foundation stone for the construction of a 580-meter-long drain at a cost of approximately 37.88 lakh rupees from behind Raigarh Stadium to Shriram Colony Mod was also laid. This construction will improve the drainage system of the area and reduce problems faced during the monsoon. Shri Chaudhary said that work is being done in phases to solve drainage-related problems in various areas of the city. Development and beautification works are progressing rapidly in Raigarh. Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary said that several important projects like roads, bridges, Kelo riverfront development, pond beautification, park construction, and oxygen zones are under rapid progress in Raigarh. The Itwari Bazaar area is being developed as an oxygen zone, which will provide citizens with a clean and green environment. He informed that the under-construction Nalanda Complex will become a modern study center for youth preparing for competitive examinations, offering facilities like a library, study rooms, and guidance. Information on Electricity Bill Settlement and Solar Energy Schemes. During the program, the Finance Minister provided information about the Chief Minister's Electricity Bill Payment Settlement Scheme, stating that it is providing relief to consumers on outstanding electricity bills. He appealed to more and more people to take advantage of the scheme. He also provided information about the subsidy being given to promote solar energy under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and called upon citizens to join the scheme.
