Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is currently on a visit to Germany. During his trip, the CM explored Classic Remise Düsseldorf, immersing himself in a world of famous vintage cars. He shared his experience on social media, describing the visit as a journey into the past.
Sharing his experience of visiting this world of cars, the CM stated that exploring Classic Remise Düsseldorf was like a journey back in time! From Chennai, known as the Detroit of India, to Germany, which holds a great legacy of automobile innovation, he had the pleasure of closely observing the world’s first car and a famous race car during his visit.
The CM further expressed that amidst the precious vintage cars, he felt as if history had come alive again, where the past and future were in conversation. This visit by CM Stalin is part of an official European tour, aimed at promoting industrial investment in Tamil Nadu.
Previously, the Tamil Nadu government signed significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with German companies during Stalin’s visit, leading to over 3,200 crore rupees in new investments and the potential for approximately 6,000 new jobs in the state.
Notably, Knorr-Bremse, a world-leading company in braking systems based in Munich, announced the establishment of a state-of-the-art plant in Tamil Nadu with an investment of 2,000 crore rupees. This will be the company’s first major manufacturing investment in the state. The project is expected to generate 3,500 jobs and strengthen the growing ecosystem of railway components and advanced engineering in Tamil Nadu.
Additionally, Germany’s Nordex Group will expand its operations in Tamil Nadu, investing 1,000 crore rupees and creating 2,500 new jobs. The company is one of the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturers.
CM MK Stalin arrived in Europe on Saturday, embarking on an 8-day trip to Germany and the United Kingdom to secure industrial investment for the state.
