Congress greets Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA campaign, vows parallel outreach

Congress officials have publicly welcomed Akhilesh Yadav’s PDA campaign, noting that their own party is not standing still. Rajendra Pal Gautam, a senior Congress figure, affirmed that the party’s organizational push is already active in every district of the state.

"We are launching multiple mini‑tours and community meetings to connect with voters," Gautam said. He added that the Congress agenda aligns closely with the Samajwadi Party on issues such as social justice, rural development and education.

Udit Raj, another Congress leader, extended personal best wishes to Yadav, stating that the two parties share a commitment to uplift marginalized sections. He highlighted that both leaders have repeatedly raised the cause of social equity in the state legislature, making the upcoming electoral battle a contest of ideas rather than mere personalities.
