Delhi’s CM Rekha Gupta has announced the reorganization of all revenue district boundaries to align with the 12 zones of the Delhi Municipal Corporation. This initiative aims to streamline operations and prevent any form of disarray, representing a significant step towards good governance. The primary objective is to swiftly address public grievances. The announcement was made during the inauguration of the District Development Office (DDC) Chairman’s office at the District Magistrate’s office complex in Alipur. The CM stated the government is undertaking several serious steps to resolve people’s problems and provide them with the benefits of schemes in a timely manner. As part of this effort, the boundaries of all 11 revenue districts will be aligned with the 12 zones of the Municipal Corporation. The Chief Minister also informed that mini-secretariats are being established in all 11 districts to make governance transparent, and the accountability of officers is being ensured.
