A CRPF constable in Gujarat’s Kutch district allegedly murdered his live-in partner, who was a woman police officer, on Friday night. The incident came to light when the accused surrendered at the Anjar Police Station where the victim worked. The victim, Aruna Natu Jadav, held the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
According to reports, Jadav and the accused, Dileep Dangachiya, resided together in Anjar. After an argument, Dangachiya allegedly strangled Jadav to death. Police investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident. The accused surrendered the following morning at the police station.
In a separate incident, a 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly murdering his live-in girlfriend after she refused to marry him. The accused, Samshuddin Mohammed Hafiz, reportedly slit his girlfriend’s throat with a knife. The victim, 19-year-old Kareena Ali, wanted to pursue her career before marriage, which led to arguments between the couple.
