DBT goes one hundred percent digital in Mizoram

Under the full‑DBT initiative, payments for flagship schemes such as Thalai Thar LiNa, Bana Kaïh and the Power Subsidy will be transferred directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts after treasury bill approval. The Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) will track each transaction, giving citizens real‑time visibility of payment status. This end‑to‑end electronic flow is intended to eliminate leakages, speed up disbursement and build public confidence in government programs.
