Heavy rain hammered Delhi and the National Capital Region on Friday, leading to water‑logged streets and snarled traffic. The most severe inundation was recorded on MB Road in South Delhi, where water rose to approximately four feet near the Air Force Station, trapping several vehicles.

Key arteries such as ITO, Patel Road, Rohtak Road, Vijiwas Road, Kirti Nagar, Shaheen Bagh, the Delhi‑Jaipur Highway and Badarpur Metro Station experienced slow movement, while subway tracks and several roadways remained submerged, compounding commuters' challenges.
