In a significant operation, the Delhi Police have successfully dismantled a cross-border liquor smuggling syndicate, leading to the arrest of three individuals. Authorities recovered 40 cartons containing 2,000 quarters of illegal alcohol intended for distribution in the Haryana region. The accused, identified as Sunny (39), Riti alias Ritik (19), and Ajit (30), were apprehended from Najafgarh, Delhi, and Jhajjar, Haryana. A TVS Jupiter scooter, reportedly used in the smuggling activities, was also seized by the Dwarka District Special Staff team. This successful bust is a testament to the diligent surveillance and intelligence gathering efforts undertaken by the police, who were specifically tasked with monitoring illegal liquor supply from Haryana to Delhi. Further investigations are ongoing to uncover the full extent of the operation and any other involved parties.
