Devendra Fadnavis has been instrumental in ushering in a new era of development across Maharashtra. His leadership, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, has propelled the state to the forefront of progress. Maharashtra now leads in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), reflecting a surge in economic activity. Under Fadnavis’s guidance, stalled projects like the Atal Setu and the Mumbai Coastal Road, conceived decades ago, were finally realized. Furthermore, the Mumbai Metro and its extensions saw significant advancements during his tenure. The Samruddhi Mahamarg, connecting Nagpur and Mumbai, drastically reduced travel time and transformed the landscape, benefitting regions like Vidarbha. Fadnavis’s initiatives extended to rural infrastructure, with widespread road connectivity under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, and water conservation through the Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan. The ‘Make in Maharashtra’ initiative, mirroring the national ‘Make in India’ campaign, attracted major investments and strengthened the state’s industrial base. Through summits like ‘Magnetic Maharashtra,’ he secured billions in MoUs and positioned cities like Pune, Thane, and Nagpur as leading smart cities. His focus encompassed both urban and rural development, enhancing the quality of life across the state.
