Disciplinary Action Against Project Officials on Expressway

NHAI initiated strict disciplinary proceedings against several officials linked to the Kanpur‑Lucknow Expressway project. Project Manager Vivek Kumar Gupta, Independent Engineer team leader Surendra Kumar, and Resident Engineer Yatendra Kumar have been removed from the assignment and barred for two years from participating in any Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), NHAI or NHIDCL projects. Current Project Director Nakul Prakash Verma has been reassigned to his original department, while former Director Saurabh Chaurasia faces a charge sheet for alleged negligence during his tenure.
