A Lucknow-based woman doctor has been apprehended in connection with a significant terror module investigation spanning Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Authorities discovered an AK-47 assault rifle within a Swift Dzire car registered under her name. The arrested individual has been identified as Dr. Shaheen. This arrest follows closely on the heels of a massive recovery of 360 kilograms of explosives and numerous weapons from a rented property in Faridabad’s Dhauj village. That property was occupied by Dr. Muzammil Shakil, a physician from Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, who was reportedly teaching at Al-Falah Medical College. Dr. Shaheen is the eighth individual to be taken into custody as part of this ongoing probe, which is believed to have ties to terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH). She is the third doctor to be arrested in connection with the case. Officials have confirmed she has been transported to Srinagar for further questioning. This breakthrough is the result of a collaborative effort between the police forces of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, alongside central intelligence agencies. In a related discovery, an additional 2,563 kilograms of ammonium nitrate were found at another location rented by Dr. Shakil in Faridabad. The owner of that property is currently being questioned by authorities.
