External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is scheduled to visit France and Belgium from June 8th to 14th. The purpose of the visit is to bolster bilateral relationships and address India’s stance on terrorism. Jaishankar will engage with his counterparts in France and Belgium. He will also participate in the first ministerial strategic dialogue with EU Foreign and Security Policy Chief Kaja Kallas. The trip includes meetings in Paris and Marseille, where he will meet with French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Barrot and participate in the Mediterranean Raisina Dialogue. Discussions will likely cover India’s actions against terror infrastructure in Pakistan-controlled territories and the nation’s new anti-terrorism strategy.
