External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar emphasized India’s unwavering stance against terrorism during a meeting. He stated India maintains a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism and expects its partners to understand this position. Jaishankar expressed gratitude to the UK government for condemning the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and for its support in India’s fight against terrorism. He made it clear that India will never equate perpetrators of evil with their victims. Furthermore, Jaishankar highlighted the recent conclusion of the India-UK FTA and the Double Contribution Convention as significant milestones that will boost trade, investment, and strategic ties, while also strengthening supply chains.
