A grounded British F-35B fighter jet has been relocated to a hangar at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. A team of technical experts from the UK arrived at the airport aboard a Royal Air Force Airbus A400M Atlas to assess the aircraft. The jet had made an emergency landing on June 14. UK authorities accepted an offer of space in a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility and are finalizing arrangements. A UK engineering team is on-site to assess and repair the aircraft, bringing specialist equipment for the process. The UK expressed gratitude to India for its support and collaboration.
