Interrogation of the accused, including Sonam Raghuvanshi, unveiled a series of failed plots preceding Raja’s death. The initial plan involved making Sonam’s disappearance appear accidental, followed by a gruesome scheme to fake her death using another woman’s body. These plans were devised before the wedding. The first attempt to murder Raja was planned in Guwahati but was thwarted. Subsequent attempts also failed, ultimately leading to the successful murder at Weisawdong Falls in Meghalaya.
