A bomb threat sent Chennai police into high alert early this morning at the residence of actor Vijay, who also serves as the president of the Tamila Vetti Kazhagam (TVK) party. The Chennai Police Control Room received the threatening call around 5:20 AM, prompting an immediate response. Bomb disposal experts and a sniffer dog were dispatched to the location in Neelankarai. After an hour-long search, the bomb squad confirmed the absence of any explosive devices, declaring the threat a hoax. Authorities have initiated an investigation at the Neelankarai police station to determine the origin of the call and the motivation behind it.
