Simultaneously, in a separate incident, an explosion at a chemical factory in the Pasamailaram Phase 1 area of Telangana’s Sangareddy district resulted in fatalities and injuries. Initial reports indicate that at least eight people lost their lives, and 26 others were injured. Rescue operations are ongoing. The explosion occurred at Sigachi Pharma, a chemical production factory. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire and the explosion.
