Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah was admitted to a hospital in Srinagar on Saturday, October 4th. The 87-year-old leader had been experiencing health issues for the past few days, prompting his hospitalization.
National Conference officials reported that Abdullah had contracted a stomach infection earlier in the week and was taken to a private hospital for treatment. A party leader mentioned that Abdullah’s condition had improved and he was expected to be discharged soon.
