Foreigners Regional Registration Office Begins Deportation Process for 11 Bangladesh Citizens
Following the arrests carried out by Delhi Police, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) has officially opened deportation proceedings against the eleven Bangladesh citizens detained for visa non‑compliance. The detainees—identified as Tahmid Ahmed Tanzeed (19), Sajjad Hussain (25), Sabir Ahmed (28), Naeem Ahmed (22), Kamal Hossein (43), Shakeel Ahmed Naeem (23), MD Ashraful Haq Mamun (35), Sultan Ahmed Sojib (29), Mujammil Ahmed (30), Bakhteyar Ahmed Johri (29) and Zakaria (26)—were all on double‑entry visas that limit each visit to a maximum of fifteen days. Documentation reviews confirmed that each individual had remained in India well beyond the permitted period, thereby violating visa conditions. The FRRO has ordered that the men remain in police custody until all legal formalities for their repatriation are completed.
