Gurugram Police conducted an encounter in the Wazirpur area, resulting in the death of five shooters. The individuals were reportedly intending to assassinate singer Fazilpuria. This incident follows a previous attack on Fazilpuria, also known as Rahul Yadav, on July 14, 2025, on Gurugram’s Southern Peripheral Road (SPR), where he narrowly escaped. The plot to kill Rahul Fazilpuria was allegedly orchestrated by gangsters Deepak Nandal and Rohit Sirdhania. The encounter, a joint operation by the STF and the crime branch, involved the apprehension of the shooters who were traveling in an Innova car without a number plate. Police acted upon receiving information and set a trap for the suspects. The armed shooters initiated gunfire upon being confronted by the police. In response, the police shot four of the assailants in the legs while the fifth was apprehended. The arrested shooters have been identified as Vinod Pehalwan, Padam alias Raja, Shubham alias Kala, Gautam alias Gogi, and Ashish alias Ashu. The four injured individuals are currently hospitalized in Gurugram, with their condition reported as stable. Law enforcement has seized weapons from their possession.
